Mudra has evolved from a mutual love of yoga and a shared vision to create community workshops & events that offer tangible and authentic ways to engage with yourself and your practice within a supportive community environment. 

We have curated workshops, retreats and trainings with clear intention, to provide a rich, nourishing experience that will help each individual grow and develop in their practice of yoga both on and off the mat.

Demelza Feltham 200 E-RYT

Demelza was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. Demelza has been practicing asana on and off for 10 years, but after reading the Bhagavad Gita at University as part of her studies 7 years ago she began implementing elements of yoga beyond asana into her daily life. Demelza grounds her practice and classes in both Classical and Tantric scripture and believes in allowing them to come to life somatically in the body. For her, Yoga should be a humbling practice explored with humility and integrity. Demelza loves, teaches and practices Vinyasa Flow and Yin yoga, both separately and combined. Demelza is a huge advocate for both Yin and Vinyasa in creating a wholesome practice, leaving the body satisfied and the mind calm, allowing space for introspection and self study. Her classes and practice is greatly influenced by the work of Body Mind Centering, and increasing her’s and her students awareness of their entire mind body being.

Helen Gillespie E-RYT 200

Helen was born and raised in Scotland. She first discovered Yoga in her early 20's. Over the following years she practiced hatha yoga, then a move to Vancouver in 2011 enhanced and inspired her yoga journey more than she could have imagined. This is where she discovered Vinyasa yoga and fell madly in love with it! Helen has been teaching classes in Edinburgh for the last few years. She is passionate about Yoga and the positive effects it has on the body and the mind. In her classes she incorporates a fluid dance of breath, movement and play. Exploring strength and focus, as well as finding softness and grace. Helen believes yoga is for everyone and loves the community aspect of the practice, where students can empower and elevate each other and in turn, their wider communities benefit too. She believes that yoga can deeply enhance the lives of those who chose to study it.
