KULA ~ monthly meet ups
We are so lucky to have such a vibrant community of yogis in Scotland. MUDRA has had the pleasure to certify 36 yoga teachers over the last two years. However, our intention has always been for this community to continue beyond the 200 hour YTT. KULA is about building a strong support network for teachers, whilst providing an opportunity to add to and strengthen the teaching practice of both our alumni, and other 200 hour YTT graduates. KULA is a celebration of community, and an effort for a continued knowledge exchange.
We are aware of the stresses that come with being a Yoga teacher, whether its feeling alone, uncertain, or exhausted. This opportunity to meet monthly is an antidote to the above, and we hope that they can become a staple of support for the teachers who come along, a monthly reminder that we are not in this alone, and rather there is a community fertile with creativity, knowledge, and support. We also want these sessions to support your teaching practice, each session will endeavour to broaden each participants knowledge, with tailored workshops for our community. Let us know what you want to learn!
A KULA session will consist of a 90 minute practice led by either Helen or Demelza, followed by a two hour workshop for Yoga teachers. These workshops will be taught by a rotation of professionals within the yoga community. These workshops will either be lecture based with the intention of gaining knowledge, or a more hands on, tactile workshop aimed at integrating aspects to your teaching practice. The sessions are designed to be manageable as far as content is concerned, and to fit around a busy schedule. There will also be space to share and connect with your KULA colleagues in every session. KULA is about harvesting a community where we support each other to become the best Yogis we can be.
All participants must hold a 200 hour YTT certificate.
